Woohoo!!!!
I finally renewed my gold account today! I have pictures again and stats... How exciting!
I am planning to upload my ultra sound pic of Willow later today. It came out nice, you can actually see her profile quite clearly.
Hmmm... What is new?
Let's see, we went down to Rhode Island on Monday, to look for apartments. At first I was a bit worried, no one was returning calls, and the pickings were rather slim! We were only staying until Wednesday evening, so time was an issue. On Tuesday morning we went to see one apartment in southern RI. It was a little icky... The outside of the building wasn't kept up and the apartment itself was smallish for our needs. But we decided to take it because it happened to be near a good friend and several family members. So we wrote him a check for first and last (2200 dollars!!!) and he also wanted another payment for security!!! This would be a total of $3300 dollars! For a place that wasn't even very nice!
After we left, we talked it over and decided to keep looking anyway. Most places had already been rented, or were too small, or had no parking, etc... And then we found it. The perfect place! Its clean, well maintained, the area isn't very pretty (our street is all multi family houses) but it isn't a bad area! It has three bedrooms, its on the first floor, it has a fenced in yard! It has new windows! The landlord is really nice! And it has washer-dryer hookups, which is GREAT because I just got a brand new set a few months ago. Also, I am really into the idea of cloth diapering this next baby, and I won't be doing that if I have to use a laundrymat! No way am I going to haul poopy diapers around in my car three or four times a week!!!
And its only $800 a month... So we gave him a check for first and security (1600) which is WAY less than the other guy wanted. So I stopped payment on the other check, and we are all set to move into our apartment on March 1st.
