Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We spent the day tucked in our house, I really don't relish the idea of being on the road with people who began drinking at ten o'clock!
Oh yes, the bar around the corner... A "celtic pub" was open at ten am for drinks! They had porta-potties and a giant tent set up in the parking lot!
Sheesh... I'm irish, but I don't feel that guzzling green beer is a necessary thing just because it happens to be the 17th of March. And we refused to eat corned beef and cabbage (although I do LOVE it, so we are going to eat it tomorrow!) 'cause James says that its not even a traditionally irish meal... They are more likely to eat mutton over there, so he says.
I guess its an irish-american tradition.
Its definately a family tradition in the witchy clan! Every year, as far back as I can remember, my Gran makes corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes for dinner, and then we have vanilla ice cream topped with creme de menthe (cause its green) and my grandpa watches "The Quiet Man" and drinks beer until he is rip-roaring angry drunk.
Aaah the memories...
Not in my household! We went to the chinese buffet... It was very yummy!
I missed our chinese buffet when we lived in Maine.
Well, that is it for now, I am off to bed.
~~~~I had another ultra sound today, little Willow is up to 2 pounds, 4 ounces.
