I mailed out my first order for RowanTree today! Yippee!!! James went and bought a mail scale so we can weigh stuff, and then maybe we can work out our shipping situation because right now it says UPS all the time, and we aren't sure if we even want to use UPS!
I can't wait until Wednesday, we have a friend coming over for dinner, who is willing to talk me through working on the website. Either switching hosts or just smoothing out what I've already got... Because I was flying blind when I set it up and I worry sometimes that I haven't got it all sorted out yet. I know I couldn't have done that bad a job though, because orders have gone through, and paypal seems just fine!
I am hoping he can help me make things look nicer, maybe a bit more professionally done.
I am trying not to get discouraged... I know its baby steps while we are starting up, after all, this is all new to us!
How peaceful my house is today! Patrick is napping in my bed, Willow is napping in her baby swing, and the my oldest is sitting at the coffee table laboring over her workbook.
The official school year began about an hour ago, as the witchling started her first fourth grade grammar lesson! We are working on identifying different types of sentences, and then GASP! on to some math...
Which makes me think "oh yuck!" But shhhh don't tell the witchling, I am still harboring hope that she MIGHT not inherit my horrible math brain...
I have to go and see if I can clean up a bit before everyone goes into want-the-momma-mode once more...
