First of all, no one would have known your name or anything else about you if you hadn’t signed up for diaryland and started using your own name. By the way, it seems that you signed up to diaryland to respond to a message left by my readers, not to anything I wrote. What I choose to post on my diary is my business, after all it is my diary.
If I choose to post an entry regarding a comment made at a family gathering, or an entry about an email I have received, that’s my choice, that’s why I don’t use real names. There was nothing to identify you in my post. It seems that you are more concerned with people’s responses to what you wrote than my original entry. I didn’t christian bash, I didn’t Kim bash. I tried to be as generous of spirit as I could while describing how comments such as yours have recently started to piss me off.
After all, would you repeat the comments you made to me in that email to a jewish friend, or a buddist friend? In essence, once they are done playing at other religions they can come back to the proper one? Again this is the inference that I took from your email, not what you said.
With regards to personal attacks, it was you that started to slur my character with comments like “I know you Joni, in conflict you do two things: hide or make yourself a victim.” And “Well you've already tried to persecute me and make yourself my victim and now that you know I what I meant you are hiding.” And “I think you wrote that blog entry and wanted to piss off Christians. You wanted to strike out against my religion and I think you even enjoyed reading the hate mail. I think you got so mad at me because I didn't justify your thinking.”
While I was trying to be nice and give you the benefit of the doubt about your true intentions behind that email and complimenting you on your abilities as a friend and mother, and yet, somehow or another you found it fit to advise me not to throw stones in glass houses.
If you want my honest opinion, I would say that you are upset with the response from my other readers to your postings as you haven’t yet shown a cohesive argument against anything I have written.
I did not christian bash, I just wrote an entry about how an email made me feel, and related my personal experience with the christian faith. Everything else (other readers responses, my posts on the subject, peoples reactions, etc) have been instigated by your posts in my notes.
Things you can only learn from movies and television...
