I set my oven to self clean last night... Everthing went fine, but now no matter what I do, I can't get the door to open!!!

I am following the directions exactly, the oven is cold now, I pushed the latch release.... nothing....

I even tried resetting the cleaning cycle, and it won't start up again...

I have no idea what to do now...

Anyone have any ideas? I called general electric, and the only thing they could do is refer me to get it serviced... Which I can't afford...

This sucks!
