I mentioned the other day that our car decided to work once again. James took it to a mechanic the day before yesterday and he said there is nothing wrong with old Sally… The guy said it was just acting up because it was wet. He told James to spray a little WD-40 somewhere in those mysterious reaches that are under an engine hood… I don’t remember where. That stuff just befuddles me anyway.
We are all going to go out in a little while, going to resign ourselves to whatever fate old Sally decides to bestow on us…
Sigh
So… 27 weeks pregnant now! I am really getting along here! The baby kicks me all the time. He is a very active little thing. Last night I could actually feel him rolling around inside my tummy. It was a very odd feeling.
I have an ultra sound scheduled for next week, I can’t wait to see how big he has gotten. I can actually feel the weight of him in my belly when I am moving around, or even just standing still. He is quite substantial now!
I can’t wait till we start preparing for the baby. All those sweet little baby things… Booties and caps and tiny t-shirts… I am going all gooey just thinking about it!
I think I am going to start crocheting (Is that spelled right? I don’t know) a baby blanket. If I start it now, I just might finish it before the baby is born! I have issues with finishing projects… My blankets usually just turn into scarves. That’s about as far as I get… Long enough to be a scarf. I have a short attention span I guess.
Ick… This weather is horrible. Depressing. Yesterday James, the witchling and I decided to just stay in. We spent the day lazing around in jammies… Watching TV and playing on the computer. We even ordered in Chinese food. And had it delivered, even though the place is literally around the corner... Not even a two minute walk!
That’s lazy!
It was a great way to spend a rainy, horrible day!
Ok. Well that’s it for today I guess. I have to go and make a dent in the dishes I should have done yesterday and didn’t… You know, that was part of that whole lazy day thing…
