Back home again...
I had to drive down to Rhode Island and pick up the witchling, who was staying at my Gran's house.
Its weird, of course I missed her, she's my baby girl (all 7 1/2 years of her) but I didn't actually miss her until last week. One morning I woke up, and there she was in all my thoughts... I missed her so much I almost drove down that day to get her!
But she was spending the weekend with her friends, at the fair, a sleepover, and then the zoo the following day. I didn't want to be the uncool mom.
The smothering mom.
I do enough of that anyway!!!
So she is here now... And we're about to start school. We are doing a review right now, of last year's materials, while I wait until I can afford the Calvert's curriculum I've got my eye on.
This Flylady stuff really helps get you organized... Nevermind motivated!
I am actually feeling good about myself for the first time in as long as I can remember.
Its Monday afternoon, and not only have I done all the housecleaning that needs doing, I've done two loads of laundry, about to do a third, and worked with the witchling on her schooling! I've got dinner in the crockpot-Honey Lemon Chicken... The witchling helped. She wants to FLY as well. We've decided that on crockpot night, she can choose the recipe and do most of the cooking!!!
Her idea.
And I have so much more patience for my children!
I am actually in a good mood most of the time now!
Hahaha.
James and DD are stripping the wallpaper and priming the walls... I'll have to take some pictures when everything is painted!
I have a web cam now... I really want to stick it on my diary, I sort of think that would be fun... But I don't know how to do that...
GRRRR....
Its so frustrating... I downloaded three different things, and still can't figure it out!
Question of the Day: How many of you are flybabies? I just discovered the book... I wish it had been sooner!!! I would have saved myself a lot of heartache and trouble in regards to my messy house! Nevermind the fighting with my dear husband!
