Well, hello... its me... post-birthday-23-year old-Joni-Witch. Yeah. So first things first, for those of you who asked who I pushed down the stairs? When I was in high school there was this girl, we'll call her skankgirl. Well, skankgirl and I did not really get along very well. In fact, I really really hated her, for all sorts of reasons. One day she was at my house (again, and uninvited too) and we were upstairs in my room. She left my room to go in my Gran's dressing room and mess with her stuff, AGAIN... So when she stepped into the hall, I gave her a shove and she fell down the stairs. It was quite funny, she went ass over kettle all the way to the bottom. "Oh, Skankgirl, I am so sorry! I am so clumsy." She didn't come over again. SO ANYWAY... We had such fun on Friday night! We went out to eat with my grandparents house, and EVERYONE ordered the same thing, even Jim... and he is really picky. We had snail salad and shrimp cocktail followed by white clam chowder and then Tenderloin of Oscar (lobster and little tender bits of steak with asparagus and a bernaise sauce over it all) with a potato and veggie. I had a glass of white wine and two Shirley Temples... I love those things... mmm mmm good... I am such a kid when I am with my Gran. She gave me a gift certificate and also a pair of beautiful earrings. They were turquoise and peridot with silver. After that Jim and Lee and James and I went to a bar and sang karaoke all might. It was fun... but I did AWFUL. And I normally sing well enough to wow a few. It was because I kept trying new stuff I'd never sung before... Always a bad idea in a new place... And I got to drink my FAVORITE drink! Sugardaddies!!! Bailey's Irish Cream and Butterscotch Schnapps!!! Yum! Saturday we went out and bought these beautiful wicker chests. One big one and one little. The big one we are going to use as an altar, and the little one as sort of a traveling witch kit. We had to go to Nik's for our usual Saturday night witchy meeting. It was fun, and I learned a few thing about myself. Namely, that I am a pretty smart witch. I can admit that I am lazy. While I have read, more books than I can count in the eight years I have been studying the craft, I haven't worked nearly enough with magick, and when I do, I always consult a book before doing anything. Well, Nik's little, I don't know what you would call him, I guess a mentoree or apprentice or whatever (I have my own opinions about that but I can't get into it now) anyway, he has been having some problems, and he wanted us to do something about this girl thats been bothering him. We (James and I) didn't feel comfortable do anything when we didn't know the whole story, so instead we decided we would charge a talisman with dispelling negativity and created our own spell from scratch... without looking anything up! I was pulling out various herbs, and I knew which ones were used for what, and what was appropriate for our spell. It was SO COOL! I was quite proud of myself... not like I was showing off or anything, but mostly because I knew it! Sunday was another story, I will finish it later because we have to go do laundry.
