He had to leave for work at six this morning, and as I was nursing the baby at the time we had to settle for a quick kiss goodbye.

Disappointing, but the longer I am married the more I see that it doesn't have to be passionate kisses and presents and all the rest of that stuff. Sometimes a soft, light, kiss can mean more that playing tonsil hockey and... Well you know. I love that we are comfortable enough to just talk, or cuddle together after a long day. I wait all day for James to come home and tell me about his day.

Its nice being married. Its nice to have something I can be sure of. Someone I can be sure of. Someone who knows me so well.

Poor James, he was so sick at work that he came home halfway through the day... And still stopped to get me a beautiful card and flowers-yellow roses, my favorite!

Its nice that we could be together today, even if poor James is sick and in bed, and I am doing schoolwork with the witchling. And hey, its kind of fun to play nurse!

Patrick is growing so fast!

We went to the doctor last week, and he has gained 5 1/2 lbs and grown 5 inches since birth!

He is only twelve weeks old!

I love being a mommy twice over, but I think I am going to wait at least another year until we try for another one... I want my babies close together so they can have each other to play with, but at the same time... Patrick is such a handful (the witchling was so much easier) that I am afraid the next baby will be just like him!

He is so demanding...

And still not sleeping more than a few hours at a time.

I think I am going to go have a nap!
