So it is ending up to be a good thing that our landlord is selling this house. He wanted us to buy it, and hooked us up with a good mortgage guy as well as his realtor... Who is now our realtor.
We aren't interested in this property anymore, it's waaaay overpriced!
And now we have been approved for a 100% mortgage (it was 90%-10% before) so we are looking at houses! Imagine it, my own home... Not renting... Wow! That would be incredible!
So we have spent the past week looking at houses. Beautiful one family homes with fenced in backyards and fireplaces and all sorts of lovely things.
Its amazing. A year and a half ago, we were pretty much homeless. And stuck in an absolutely disgusting living situation... Then a tiny apartment... Then here... We have moved so many times. And had to make do with so little. It would be a dream come true to have my own home.
So think good thoughts and wish us luck, cause we are going to look at another house this evening. This one is on the CT/RI border with 1.2 acres of land! And a pool!
I had to go to the dentist yesterday and get some fillings. Yeek. That was awful! I had three very very tiny cavities, and now they are all patched up, and my teeth feel freaky. I keep thinking something is stuck in there. Its driving me nuts!!! Hopefully I will get used to the feeling soon.
