On to the real entry...
I actually have a nice bathroom now!!! Woohoo! The walls are a very pretty creamy rose-tan sort of color... It looks tan in certain lights and rose in others, its called "Damask Dunes" and I have brand spanky new flooring down... To cover up that horrid stained linolium that was there to begin with. I think the people who lived here before us were very dirty. My mother and I spent a good hour scrubbing the bathroom floor with industrial cleaners and scrub brushes and we still couldn't make it look clean. It was clean, it just didn't look clean.
But now its quite pretty... I am going to have to get all new towels and shower curtains and a fluffy bath mat. I feel so civilized!
We also finished the living room... Its plum, with cream trim... I just need to get curtains and an area rug (wood floors) and the moulding has to be put back up around the ceiling.
The next job is the back parlor (a lavender called "Sweet Shadows" who names these colors anyway?) and then the playroom (which is actually a dining room... We just need a playroom more than a big fancy room no one will use) and kitchen!

We are going to wait until spring to do the outside. I am sure our neighbors love us right now...

I have a cold. Bleh.
James has it too. So no babying for me. How depressing!!! LOL

Question of the Day: James wants us to get another dog, a big one to protect our family when he is working nights... Which is often. Which do you think would be better, a German Shepard or Rottie? Either one would come into our home straight from a reputable breeder, one who we have visited and who has the parents on site... Also we would have the dog trained properly.
