Eat at your own risk!

I totally screwed up dinner tonight.
Some kitchenwitch I am!
I mean, it was bad! I was attempting to make a simple tomato sauce to go with the sweet italian sausage James took out of the freezer... But something went horribly, horribly wrong! It was a chore to eat it.
The witchling kept saying she liked it, but I think she was just trying to make me feel better.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but my little witchling is obsessed with fairies. Which was one of the reasons my aunt made her a "forest fairy" for the wedding. Her goal in life is to meet a fairy... And her auntie Steve doesn't count!
We were at Border's yesterday, and I wandered through the craft books section. Not witchcraft, mind you, the other kind... Needlework, soap making, stained glass, ect... I was looking for project ideas for her homeschooling. And I saw a book called "Fairy Crafts".
It was so cool! It had fairy wands, clothes, baskets, paper dolls, and little dolls, it had party favors, and ideas for throwing a fairy tea party... Her eyes almost bugged out of her head! I am going to get it for her as soon as we can afford something frivilous again.

This morning, little Patrick decided to wake up at 6:30. And proceeded to stay awake for the rest of the morning! He would not shut up! He was talking, crooning, and cooing... Happy as a clam when I laid him down between us in the bed. He has found his voice, but I never heard him make so many different sounds that weren't crying before today... And he's found his feet! He grabbed his tiny toes and held on for dear life. It was so cute I couldn't work up the energy to be annoyed with him!
