Hello again!
We are staying with my mom for a few weeks before we move to a new place. Its nice here, this time... My mother is gone a lot because her boyfriend finally left his wife. I didn't think he ever would. He kept telling my mom he needed a little more time, but they all say that. I thought he was just jerking her along, but nope, he did it.
So they are spending most nights together, and my brothers are home alone. Which is why its especially good that we are here... Xander is getting into so much trouble lately, it would be stupid to gift wrap this house... "Here you go, you teenage deliquent... Have an empty house, all to yourself..."
He is so annoyed that he can't throw parties every night of the week.
He was arrested two weeks ago, for possesion with intent to sell. And last week we had to report his car stolen, because his deadbeat friend (without a license) "borrowed" it and then refused to bring it back.
Sigh.
My mother spent two thousand dollars on his car, three weeks ago, and its already falling apart. He's had three flat tires, dented up the outside, ruined the transmission and worn through the brakes.
He likes to take it "off-roadin". Its a fucking plymouth sundance. You can't off-road in a fucking sundance!
Yeah.
He needs serious help.
The problem is, he wants to fit in so desperatly. He wants people to like him so badly, and he is so happy that he is popular now.
But really, he's not. His car is. These kids are using him as a taxi service. They call him up at all hours of the day and night... Anytime from seven in the morning on a Sunday, to two in the morning on a week night. For rides. Not to hang out with him, but to get him to take them from point a to point b. Pick me up, drop me off.
We get twenty to thirty calls, everyday, from some of the rudest, most disrespectful kids ever. If they were his friends they wouldn't be so rude to us. But they just don't care. Because they don't respect him, they just want to get him to drive them somewhere.
Its really sad.
Things you can only learn from movies and television...
