I had forgotten how weird pregnancy dreams can be! This morning I woke up after a very upsetting dream, and it took me about ten minutes to get over it and get out of bed! I don't remember much about it now, it's all gone muzzy... But I do remember being angry with James!
This weekend has been great! I've spent the past six weeks glued to my couch, dozing. I haven't been as sick as with Bubba, but I have been so very very tired. Always. Tired. Needing a nap. Sleep.
I would get up around six every morning with the baby, flop on the couch, and spend the rest of my day there, dozing, while he puttered between the playroom and living room. But I was so proud of myself yesterday! I actually made it through the entire day, from waking till bedtime without a nap! And we were invited to Kay's house for an early Thanksgiving dinner, so I didn't even have to cook!
It was a really nice meal, I wish I could have enjoyed it a little more, but lately my stomach gets upset as soon as I finish eating. So I've got to sit still for quite a while until the feeling goes away.
Ah, the joys of motherhood!
James has today off, so I think we are going to do family things today... As well as a ton of errands I've been "forgetting" to do.
I would blame the bump for the laziness but in all honesty, I was just as lazy before I got preggers!!!
I've changed my mind, by the way... The blue wiggle is now the object of my fickle affections.
~~~Now that we live so far from my family, I've been thinking about the holidays... And how we've never had one alone. So our little family unit has no established holiday plan... I don't even know what I would serve if I was to do Thanksgiving. In the coming years we will have to figure out what is meaningful to us. Which led me to wonder about other families around the country...
